NATURAL HIGH

We finally received the VCDSs we ordered from Andrew!! ureshiiiiii~~~ (^o^)v There were just sooooo many of them - I counted 169 cds!! - so I was just too overwhelmed!! I actually couldn't sleep that night. I just kept looking at the box of cds and kept arranging them, and re-arranging them, and grinning from ear-to-ear, then re-arranging them again. It would've been nice if all those cds were mine, but of course, they weren't. LOL Most of them were ordered by Hya, and Joey as well as Pchan pooled in too! My aunt also ordered 2 series. So, after distributing the cds to the respective owners, well, I was left with only 1 series and 5 movies. Ehehe... ^^;;;

I was finally able to start watching SWEET 18 (NangRang 18 Se, aka My 18-year old Bride) the other night. I would've finished watching the whole series by now if only we didn't have to prepare for our Grand Pedia Case Presentation next week. But anyway, I feel so happy!!! The series is just so funny and sweet! I laughed so hard I felt I can already wake the whole house (my only time to watch TV is from 12mn-5am ^o^). But it was so so nice. Han Ji Hye is so funny and Lee Dong Gun is just soooooooooo ADORABLE!! (^o^)v I just love Lee Dong Gun!!! I knew he was quite a cutie in FRIENDS (with Won Bin) but he's even more kakkoi now!! ^o^ Here's a pic:



WAaaaiii!!!! I just love that pic! So kawaii... ^o^ I heard they might be a couple IRL. If that is true then I am most definitely happy. I think they suit each other perfectly! /sigh/ Thinking about Lee Dong Gun really makes me happy. In fact, I am trying to "will" myself to just think about him all the time so that I don't lose my cheerfulness. We're too swamped with schoolwork that it's just impossible not to feel depressed. But thoughts of Lee Dong Gun and Han Ji Hye and the background music of Sweet 18 brighten my day and keep me going. LOL I know it sounds really corny, but it's true. It just feels like natural kind of "high". LOL Anyway, I'll write more about Sweet 18 next time when I finish the series. And I'll also write about the other k-movies I've watched too.

THE SEVENTH NIGHT

Last month, I was fortunate to be able to catch and tape Gackt's THE SIXTH DAY AND SEVENTH NIGHT concert in WOWOW. It was just so cool! Gackuto's concerts always had some great openings (like the last time, I think he was hanging from a cable), but in this concert, it was just awesome! He had put on a traditional japanese attire and was playing this traditional japanese string instrument, and it just took my breath away! He is so so talented! And during the concert, he sang (love da voice!), he danced (yesss, Gackuto really choreographs his moves!), he played the guitar, he played the piano, he also danced with mascots! (hehehe, kawaii!!!), and he celebrated his birthday (aww.... >.<). How old is Gackuto anyway? I think he must be almost 500 y/o? Well, at least that's what he claims. LOL I really enjoyed watching that concert, even though it was just only on TV (and even though my father was really annoyed that he was forced to sit through and watch such a concert!) *sheepish* ^^;;

Anyway, last Thursday, I met up with Pchan because she asked me to help her buy sticker labels. And she brought with her some DVDs and... I just can't believe it, an original copy of Gackuto's latest album, THE SEVENTH NIGHT ~UNPLUGGED~!! And what's more amazing is that the CD is FOR ME!! For no occasion, just because Pchan is absolutely so super-nice, I got a brand new Gackuto CD!! And it's so great! The packaging is so cool, and it comes with this really nice lyrics booklet with lotsa Gackuto black and white pics that are just so wonderful. And the CD? It's... too great for words. (LOL I'm running out of synonyms for great and awesome and cool ^o^). It has 11 tracks and all are just absolutely wonderful! I particularly love the unplugged versions of Kimi no Tameni Dekiru Koto, Kimi ga Matteiru Kara and Kimi ga Oikaketa Yume. And also, the piano background of Last Song is quite nice. It gives a different feeling compared to the guitar intro of the original version.

Ne, Pchan, you really overdid it this time (but then you always give me so much, LOL). Next time, katu napud THE SIXTH DAY nga album... JOKE!!! LOL Joke lang bitaw, P... THANK YOU SO SO MUCH ha!!! You really don't know how happy I am. Hontou ni arigatou!! ^o^ *mwahugglez*

Actually, two Saturdays ago, Pchan and I went on a date-to. LOLz We had dinner at Dimsum Diner (yumm!!) and just tried to catch up on stuffs. The main conversation that night was (as usual, our favorite topic ^o^) about her new VCDs, particularly the J-dorama BEAUTIFUL LIFE. We just ranted and ranted about how Shuji (Kimura Takuya) was just so totally adorable, and about all the bittersweet and tear-jerking scenes... Ne, I haven't blogged about BL yet?! GYAH!!! Seem like I haven't really had much time to update. *sad* Anyway, after dinner, we exchanged DVDs and stuffs (it felt like exchanging gifts during Christmas ^o^) and I gave Pchan "Edison Chen" potato chips. 0_o Don't bother asking what it is, but Pchan was very delighted. LOLz And then we went to "raid" the pirated DVD stalls... hehehe Actually, we just checked out if there were new DVD titles. Pchan bought 2 chinese DVDs while I bought a really kewl MP3 collection which contained albums of Jang Nara, Jay Zhou, Kelly Chen, BoA, Will, Energy etc. I think that CD was really money-well-spent. (^o^)v [insert: Really love Will's song, AI SHANG WEI LAI DE NI. Am thinking of using it as my next blog title but it might be a little too mushy. ^^;;] Actually, that time, Pchan and I planned to have our pic taken too. Unfortunately, we got wet from the rain and we figured we weren't photogenic that time, so maybe next time. I'm sure Pchan and I will have lots of mis-adventures in the future. As long as our schedules permit us to and as long as there's enough budget. LOL ^o^

Actually, I'm really happy that Pchan and I are such good friends! I've always wanted a friend who likes to hang-out, sleeps over at my house, eats chips in my room, likes the stuffs (and ahem!, boys.. ^o^) I obsess over and basically just appreciates and understands me for who I am. Pchan is one of the friends who I can really consider as a "bestest" friend. I hope I can make Pchan smile as she has always made me smile, be there for her as she has always been there for me, and just be a good friend to her as she has always been a good friend to me. *sniffles* Yesssss P. That means when I become a doctor, I'll give you ONE free consultation. LOLz! LOlz! Joodan! (^o^)v

Anyhoo, this week will be a good week for all of us. NO, it's not because we have 4 exams! LOLz It's because the korean VCDs we ordered from Manila will finally be arriving! Weeeee~!! That's very good news for me, Pchan, Hya and Joey! I'm just so excited because I will finally be able to watch "My 18 Year Old Bride" and drool over Lee Dong Gun!! Yesss!! I just love Lee Dong Gun!!! ^o^ But that's a story I will save for next time. For now, it's enough for people to know that I love Pchan and Gackuto. v(^o^)v
