[ a plethora of words @ 13:58... ]

INTERESTING...

I was browsing through the search engine when I caught sight of a fanfic written by "The Piffle Princess" (not me though XD). This got me into thinking that perhaps "piffle" must actually mean something. I actually just got the term from Angelic Layer. I never really bothered to analyze if it has a connotation to it, but apparently, it does! ^_________^

I checked out dictionary.com and found this:
pif?fle?[pif-uhl]
–noun 1. nonsense, as trivial or senseless talk.
–verb (used without object) 2. to talk nonsense.

pif·fle
intr.v. pif·fled, pif·fling, pif·fles
To talk or act feebly or futilely.
n.
Foolish or futile talk or ideas; nonsense

piffle
n : trivial nonsense [syn: balderdash, fiddle-faddle] v 1: speak (about unimportant matters) rapidly and incessantly [syn: chatter, palaver, prate, tittle-tattle, twaddle, clack, maunder, prattle, blab, gibber, tattle, blabber, gabble] 2: act in a trivial or ineffective way

Interesting. I actually, unknowingly, chose a word which perfectly describes my blog. XD

Just as I unknowingly chose misaki as my online name, and later found out that it can actually mean "looking forward to a life of beauty", which also describes my personality perfectly.

How interesting. In fact, it's TOO interesting, I'm getting a bit freaked out. XD

OMAE WA MEDICINE WARD INTERN DESU

I am Medicine Ward Intern.

And I am so damn tired!!!!!!!

I haven't recovered from the fatigue from the last three days, then I'm on duty again tomorrow!

I haven't read anything! I haven't studied anything!

How can I if I go home around 9-10pm, have to eat dinner, wash my clothes, fix my stuffs, do paperworks -- all after being all burned-out at the ward for the whole day!

And then I'm on duty again!

*deep sigh*

Tsukareta ne.

Really so tired. *sad*

And ironically, I have finally met my rival -- my rabu rabu (*love* *love*) resident's girlfriend. She's also a rotating resident in the ward. She is very beautiful, with fair skin and a gentle smile. She also speaks softly and moves with grace. When I saw her with my *rabu* *rabu* resident together, they looked so so so good together, as if God especially created two individuals to match each other perfectly.

I claim defeat. I am no match. It was no contest in the first place.

*sigh*

Life is indeed unfair.

And I am so damn tired.

*sit in one corner and starts growing mushrooms*

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Addendum:
Burned a CD for myself (to give me strength!). This is the very first CD burned using Hya's DVD-writer. ^o^

Tsubasa Chronicles
1. IT'S (2nd OP theme)
Saiunkoku Monogatari
2. Hajimari no Kaze (OP theme)
3. Saikou no Kataomoi (ED theme)

15. Mata Ashita!
16. Nocturne for Orchestra
17. Sakura Kiss for String
18. Tsumetai Yoru

19. Ima Egao ga Areba (OP theme)

I apparently need to burn more CDs for stress relief. And yes, the Prince of Tennis poster (featuring all POT bishounens in chibi studying mode XD) which faces me while I'm sitting on my desk really helps a lot in relieving the stress.

Shaoran-kun's posters too.

Gah. If I become even more tired, I'll apparently be needing more posters as well. XD

KISS! KISS! FALL IN LOVE!

[WARNING: Some scenes and dialogues may not be suitable for young audiences. Parental guidance is advised]

So I'm feeling groggy today. And I almost dozed off in church (and ironically, the message was about self-control XD). You ask me why.

THIS IS WHY.

I'm sorry but I just had an anime marathon last night. I watched all 22 episodes of Ouran Koukou Host Club and 6 episodes of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu in one sitting, with only three visits to the CR. I watched them with two servings of dinner, 1.5 L of Rootbeer, 2 cups of coffee and a brownie to keep me company (since I was basically alone in Silent Hill again last night XD). I watched them as if there's no longer any other chance to watch them (which is partly true since I'll be starting Med Wards tomorrow. Gah! x__X).

So anyway, lets' talk Ouran... *sly grin* I've always wanted to watch this ever since I read it in animenfo. So lucky de-su that Fangli and Piercing made me a copy (YAY!!! *forever grateful T.T*). We watched the first episode at Suoh-san's last week, but I wasn't able to pick a bishounen for myself yet, so I decided to watch it again. I started around 8PM, but unfortunately, for some reason, the CDs won't play normally. Either the audio won't coincide with the image and subs, or it would just stop during the opening song, or it would just play audio, or it would say "an error has occurred blah blah blah". I wanted to pull my hair in frustration!!! I was so looking forward to this anime marathon! So I tinkered with Hya's laptop for about 2 hours. XD I used PowerDVD, WinDVD, DivX, WinAmp, Windows Media Player but nada! So in the end I thought that perhaps Hya's laptop is already running low on disk space (I don't even know if that's logical XD) so I uninstalled some programs (with permission of course), and yey, finally the episodes started playing decently. ^_____^ *relief*

So episode one showed a cast of yummy bishounens whom I actually found more on the cute side instead of the yummy side. Except for the bespectacled Kyouya = Coolness! ^o^ So I thought I'd choose him. Tamaki was too pretty for me, Honey too cute, the twins Hikaru and Kaoru too obnoxious and Mori was too quiet. I watched the first few episodes - they were very funny and interesting - but I somehow found them a bit superficial, as if they were just light-hearted and eye-candy but lacked a certain depth. But then I really didn't have any expectations (except that it's filled with bishounens, and I'm pretty much satisfied on that aspect *happy*). But maybe I was thinking something like Fruits Basket because for some reason I'm reminded of the Sohma boys (*thinks Momiji = Honey* XD). Or maybe I was just frustrated it took me quite a long time to get the CDs playing, so maybe my judgment was clouded. I don't know. But eventually, I got engaged in the story. ^o^ I started enjoying Hikaru and Kaoru's "brotherly love", amused at Tamaki growing mushrooms in one corner (he's so adorable!! XD), amazed at Kyouya's manipulative nature (hohoho), and moved at the sweet relationship between Mori and Honey. And also the rest of the characters were just plain weird (i.e. Haruhi's okama Dad XD). But I could not choose a favorite among the boys!!! I thought I would not be able to designate an Ouran Koukou host for myself until EPISODE 15. Until...

Mori suddenly decided to strip half naked and chop wood. --------------->

*Mokona MEKYO-eyes!*

*falls off chair*

*nosebleeds all over!*

*palpitations*

*difficulty breathing!*

KYYYYAAAAAAaaaaaaaAAaaaaAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
MORI-SEMPAI!!!! TAKE ME, I'M ALL YOURS......!!!!!
*drools*

So in the end I chose Mori-sempai, for his tall frame, good looks, humble(?) nature, for his lack of dialogues (which I now find so cute!!), and for his loving devotion and thoughtfulness. And yes, for his half-naked wood-chopping pose. XD

Next in line would probably be Hikaru who I actually think looks better than Kaoru (yah right, imagining things again XD).

I still don't know though if there's a concrete plot for Ouran since the story is basically episodic, letting us know more about each character better (but you still don't see a Tamaki sad story ne? Must be saving that for the last part XD). I don't think it will end on episode 26 though, since I think there's still a lot of possible things that could happen. Besides, I want more of them Ouran boys, teeheehee XD Can't wait for the succeeding episodes! ^o^ Can't wait for more Mori scenes!! ^o^

After Ouran, I then watched the first 6 episodes of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu...

*bgm on* Mi.. Mi.. Miracle... Mikurun.. run... Mi.. Mi.. Miracle... Mikurun.. run...

This has got to be one of the weirdest animes that ever existed. Hahahaha I don't even know what's the main plot (is there? XD) but I so love Kyon's witty narratives!!! ^o^ And I so love the characters!! ^o^ I have yet to see how the story unfolds since I'm still halfway, but I want more Mikuruuuuuuu Beammmmmmmmmmmmm!!!! XD XD XD

And [off topic] I want spaghetti!! One kilo of homemade spaghetti with lots of sauce!!! Kuso. Now that I think about it, I'm getting hungry. XD

(late entry!!! XD wasn’t able to go online eh! XD)

SEPTEMBER 10, 2006 (SUNDAY)
01:50

MILFEUILLE MISAKI NO YUUTSU

I was off to another adventure yesterday. I went (again) to Suoh-san’s house to see my ShaoRan-kun watch TRC. XD But unlike last time when I was just too impulsive, I actually thought and planned about this “trip” for more than a week. I even brought my panda pillow, panda umbrella, blank cds, flash drive and slippers. LOL And also unlike last time, I was now going to Suoh-san’s house on my own. Suoh-san wasn’t going to meet me anywhere and I will just have to find which brown gate belongs to them. I guess that’s not so hard ne? ^o^ I was a bit anxious, but more excited, just thinking about it! I was on manic mode last Friday, and kept skipping around the room, laughing and pestering my roommates. Then I slept early so that Saturday morning would come faster. XD

So on Saturday morning, I was ultra-genki when I woke up. But when I was about to leave, Carlomer texted saying he was in PGH and wants to meet me. He’s a very good friend from high school, a year level younger than me (but we’re the same age). I haven’t seen him for six or seven years, ever since he went off to UP Diliman for college, and only recently kept in touch when I learned he also went into Medicine at St. Luke’s. So I went to see him in the Social Hall, and we talked for about ten minutes. He was still the same bubbly Carlo, but he gained A LOT of weight. XD We promised to see each other again soon, together with our other friends from high school who are also here in Manila.

Then I stopped by Robinson’s to buy some stuffs, then off to ride the LRT! Weeeee!!! ^o^ I so love riding the LRT (and MRT). The past week we’ve been going back and forth to Greenhills because of Hya’s new DVD-Writer (ayeehee!! ^o^) and I get so psyched up riding the LRT/MRT (never mind that it’s always so cramped with people, you’d think you’d switch faces with the other passengers already! XD). And then when I reached 5th Av, I was a bit startled when I realized it was an intersection. But I did find the jeepney (HAHA! Smart kid!), but I.. er, got lost. XD (I take back the part where I said “smart kid” XD) Apparently, I wasn’t able to see the brown gate or the muffler place and I kept riding on till I reached another main road. When I realized I was already in the wrong direction, I said, with much poise, “Kuya, para!” XD LOL Then went off the jeep laughing at myself. XD

I eventually did find Suoh-san’s house (HAHA! Told ya -- Smart kid! XD) and after lunch, we started to ogle my ShaoRan watching TRC eps 36-40. ^o^ It was a continuation of where we left off last time, the concluding part of the world – and sad love story – of Yasha and Ashura. After which the Doodler Mokona episode followed, which was a super kawaii episode where everyone was in chibi mode!!! So cute!! ^o^ I think that was perhaps the most amusing and cutest TRC episode ever! Just imagine a world with multi-colored Mokona all over... *rotfl* The next two episodes were set in a country road, with our heroes riding a bus to regain back Sakura no hane. I love the particular part where they were all resting in the bus, and there was Kaze no Machi He playing as background music. I thought it was a very serene and beautiful scene. And the subbers did a great job of doing the subtitles for that part! Level up na ‘to, makes me really want to go into the fansubbing industry! Hehehehe XD Tonikaku, I am eternally grateful for the existence of fansubbers (and yes, scanlators too!), whose hardwork and dedication are totally commendable! *bows in awe and thankfulness* The last episode was a story about Kuro-pon, and it was perhaps the saddest episode in TRC (ah... maybe the saddest NEXT TO my ShaoRan crying in the rain because Sakura couldn’t remember him... *namida ga afureru!!!*). I think if I watched that episode alone I would have cried my heart out, but since there were people around, I just got teary-eyed. XD LOL

[WARNING! sorry, but *ShaoRan rant mode on* XD]
My ShaoRan is so so so so so ultra-adorable!! (but then everyone already knows how crazy I am for him, nyahahahaha ^__________^). He apparently has become even more skillful, even to the point that gadzillions of bullets (er, laser beams?) are no match for his speed and agility. It kinda reminds me of a stereotyped local action movie, where the protagonist evades all the bullets and kills everyone(yah, bad guys are all blind with lousy aims XD). LOL And I noticed my ShaoRan seems to like being so “heroic” lately. LOL Sorry for being (ahem!) overly-jealous, but does Sakura even see the efforts and the risks that my ShaoRan is making for her just to get all those hane back?! He even got hit by a signboard while hanging on a worthless rope trying to swing himself up on a moving van! I don’t know what Sakura is thinking, but that scene hurt me... a lot. u__u I’d rather Sakura not have any memories than have my ShaoRan get all these wounds and bruises and yet still remain faceless to her. I am fed up with my ShaoRan doing all these things for Sakura! Why does he do that anyway!? Why put himself in so much danger, in so much pain for Sakura!? Why exert so much effort for her!? WHY!? WHY!? WHY!??!!

*bangs both hands in fury on the table*

I guess it’s because, as Yuzuriha said, “Perhaps, this is LOVE...”

*sighs in defeat* u___u

And I guess also because if my ShaoRan decides to quit, then there wouldn’t be any story to follow. LOL XD Why am I being so outrageous, anyway? It’s not like I’m a character in the story, LOL (Although I would love to see Angelic Layer characters in TRC!!! ^o^)

And also, as the old man said, “Life is... never having to give up.”

*deep sigh*

I so love my ShaoRan. I wish he exists in real life.
[*end of ShaoRan rant mode*]

Well, to continue on my story, guess who dropped by to say hi while we were watching TRC?! Ayeehee! Fangli and Piercing Sword de-su!!! ^________^ It was my first time to see them in real life, and I was really quite excited! When they entered the door, I was all smiles, and in my mind I was thinking, “Kyaaahhh! Kawaii! FUTAKOI ALTERNATIVE!!” *rotfl* (But of course I didn’t say that out loud, hahahaha XD). They looked... identical. *rotfl* (wow, a good choice of words there, misakichan! XD). Anyway, they were ultra-nice, and even gave me CDs! Ouran High School Host Club (KYAAAAHHH!!! XD) and many manga scanlations (UWAAAAW!!!) *namida ga afureruuuuuuuu in thankfulness T.T* Then the four of us went up back to Suoh-san’s room to finish TRC. ^___^

After watching TRC, we were kinda at a loss for what to do next, so we previewed 5 different animes (first episodes only) ^o^ IMHO, I like all of them, but if I have to rank them of what I’d like to watch first, then...
1. Ouran High School Host Club – BISHIES GALORE!! ‘Nuff said! Bwahahahaha XD
2. Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu – Kawaii! I want to be an uchuujin! LOL
3. Saiunkoku no Monogatari – It’s like FY meets Legend of the Condor Heroes, hehehe And the chinese subs actually placed my skills to the test again. I got dizzy trying to read those simplified chinese characters. XD
4. Utawarerumono – I’m still curious as to why the guy from Gundam has appeared in an alternate world... *rotfl*
5. Fate Stay Night – Love the art and interesting characters! But let’s save the serious stuffs for later. XD

And after that, Suoh-san gave a mini-tutorial on the use of Adobe Photoshop. I’ve always wanted to learn about Photoshop, but then I really don’t know what I’d use it for since I don’t really draw anymore. But it was my first time to actually see someone use it in front of me, and I was very pleased. I thought of Gervie, and figured he really needs it if he wants to publish his dream manga (which I’m afraid will forever remain a dream if he keeps on procrastinating like that XD). Well, maybe he and Don Vic could try to learn Adobe Photoshop soon. Or maybe I could try to learn and then do the coloring for them! (Yah right. Bright idea. As if I have the time. XD)

Well we did learn a lot from Suoh-san (arigatou! XD). Then we talked and talked and then took pictures (Hooray! I so love pictures!!!) but I just realized now that we don’t have a picture with Fangli and Piercing together. *sad* I want Futakoi Alternative together!!! *wails* XD Teehee. No. Actually, Fangli and Piercing look more like the Miracle Girls. ^o^ But I love saying Futakoi Alternative, Futakoi Alternative over and over and over! XD Well, Fangli and Piercing said I was QUIET, which I actually found amusing. Because it’s true! I’m not this loud and crazy in real life. Even Don Vic once said that I’m really a totally different person online than who I am in real life. XD Well say hello to the alter ego of KristinePanmisakichan!!! (or is it the other way around? KristinePan is the alter ego of misakichan? Which is which? Who’s the real one? XD)

Eventually, it was time for Futakoi Alternative the Miracle Girls Fangli and Piercing to go. Aww... Actually, it was apparently time for me to go too, but I was suddenly filled with a mix of surprise and dread at the thought that the day was almost over and that I had to leave and go back to Silent Hill my dreary dormitory. That’s why when Fangli asked if I wanted to go with them to the LRT station, I was suddenly at a loss for words. Was it that late already??! NOOooooo... I do not want to leave!!! Nobody sane would trade Otaku Paradise with Silent Hill! It’s OK if I had to go back to Panda Land (read: go HOME to CDO to MY ROOM), but I don’t want to go back to Silent Hill. So I bluntly said No, I didn’t want to go home yet. XD Besides, at the back of my *evil* mind, I really wanted a copy of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu. Nyahahahahahahahahahaha XD XD (and there’s actually another *evil* intention, which you will learn later... XD)

So I stayed for a while longer, had dinner (<--- this is the other *evil* intention XD because my room mate Shay2x texted me that she was not able to get me dinner XD), and finally had the nerve to ask Suoh-san to burn Suzumiya Haruhi for me. XD LOL Then perhaps the heavens were angry, because I was already too *evil*, so they poured out a heavy rain. A very heavy rain. A very heavy rain that wouldn’t stop. A very heavy rain that wouldn’t stop and already started to flood the street outside of Suoh-san’s house. KYAAAAAHH!!!! It’s Tenchuuuuu!!! Heavenly Punishment de-su! XD

So I had to go home. Because even if I wanted to stay longer in Otaku Paradise, I can’t, because there’s such a thing as a TIME LIMIT to the LRT. We weren’t even able to burn the rest of Suzumiya Haruhi. (Dah, Leng, gaba jud! Ma-ho! XD). So because of the heavy rain, Suoh-san had to take out their car to drive me to LRT station and then because I was wet, I got their car wet too. I was so embarrassed! I didn't want to be such a hassle. u__u And then when I saw the flooded streets, I had a horrible thought: “Oh no! Taihen de-su! What if we get the engine so wet, it would die and then we’d get stuck in the middle of the road!?” I wanted to shrink in embarrassment. But thank God, nothing of that sort happened, and after saying my thanks to Suoh-san, I hurriedly ran off to the LRT. I could hardly see, because my glasses were all foggy. XD And I was wet and freezing. My Panda umbrella was injured. My feet were soaked in God-knows-where-that-water-came-from. XD

Well, on the way, while riding in the LRT, I was so deep in thought and so guilt-stricken, and so damn cold (Dah jud Leng, Ma-ho! XD). I thought of the many things that happened in the past. I thought of the many things that happened that day. I thought of many things that will happen in the future. I thought of so many things that I didn’t notice Quirino... Vito Cruz... Libertad... EDSA...

HUH!?

EDSA!!!???

KYaAAAAHHHH!!! I missed my stop!! XD So I got off at EDSA and hurried to ride the LRT back, but... I was too late!! IT WAS CLOSED!! Kami-sama, TASUKETEeeeeeeee!!!! *cries* I had to ride the jeep back. I was all wet and cold and freezing and lost again. I didn’t know if I wanted to laugh or cry.

But I chose to laugh. Because ultimately, it had been a happy day.

I was very very very very happy that day.

Thank you. ^______________________^
