HOME ALONE
- cooking with chef misakichan -


My parents went suddenly went "honeymooning" to Cebu (teehee, actually they went to attend my cousin's wedding) and since I had work, I wasn't able to go with them. So for two days I'm home alone. (awww...u__u)


It's not that bad though. During mornings I do some cleaning and laundry, and at night I watch my backlogs (currently finishing the last few episodes of Trinity Blood). Yesterday afternoon I went out with my friends Hya and Joey. And today, my friend Gervie came over to keep me company. So it wasn't really that lonely.



Besides, I have my dog didat with me. ^____________^



A slight problem though is my meal. Since I'm not such a kitchen person, so my er, cooking skills are limited (more like undeveloped XD). But there is nothing that cannot be overcome so...

Last night (well, uh, it was actually already early morning...), I was watching Nemureru Mori / Sleeping Forest and it was already getting to the freaky conclusion. We get to go back to the murder scene with all the gore, and the murderer's face is already about to be revealed. I was about to watch the last episode when I realized that it was already 330am! So I decided to turn off the PC and go to bed because I still have work.

So while waiting for the PC to shut down, I went to the kitchen to wash my coffee mug. I must have imagined it, but I thought I heard a soft "wsst...!" (or was it the sleepy voice of my Mom from upstairs calling me?). I froze and listened for a while. The house was eerily quiet. Then as I continued on rinsing my mug, I thought I heard another soft "wsst...!" again. Is it my Mom? Or maybe ... not? I began to feel very uneasy and hurriedly washed my mug. Then for the third time, I heard it again, this time a loud enough "WSST...!" to actually convince me to turn around.

But of course. No one was there.

KYAAaAaaAaHHHHH!!!!! It was downright so freaky!!! o__0;;

I immediately unplugged the PC, turned off the lights, and rushed to my room. I shut my eyes, clutched my pillow tightly, and prayed really hard. Dear Lord, I prayed, what was that!? I was thinking that I probably just imagined it, maybe I just thought I heard my Mom. Was I so sleepy to the point of hallucination?

Then while I was mulling over all these, I thought I heard it again from my parents' bedroom. This time it was a soft
"Leng?"

KYyyAAAaaaaaAaAaaAAAaHHHHHHhhHHH!!!! KOWAI..!!! I didn't bother to think anymore! I just prayed and prayed until I fell asleep.

This morning I asked my Mom if she was the one who was calling my name.

She said she was sound asleep at 330am.

I saw this video on Channel V last Saturday and ... *drools*drools*drools*drools*drools* XDXDXD
The song is so addictingly catchy. it'S sO CuTe!!!! ^________^v

Apparently, this is the new Taiwanese boyband 棒棒堂 (BangBangTang / Lollipop) which was formed from a reality show created by Channel V Taiwan. And they are also the guys in the TW drama Brown Sugar Macchiato.

ALL IN A DAY'S WORK


It was raining the whole day this morning. In fact, it's been raining since yesterday afternoon.

And so since it was raining, I didn't expect to have any patients in the clinic. And I suddenly decided to draw, using (as usual) the back of the prescription pad.

Here are some stuffs I've accomplished:


Ahh... wish I could've done better. She just doesn't look quite right. XD

But what can I do... my medium for my artistic expression is only THIS!



Anyway, after that, I decided to try my hand at an original character.
Aiming for elegant vampire-like character... and getting...


Know why it's crumpled? Because it is going straight to the trash bin. XD

Third attempt... experimenting with hair... and neko mimi...


Ugh.
It can be improved though.


After that, I had only one patient for this day. I was so bored I chatted with that patient for maybe an hour. I explained to her the physiology of menstruation, of pregnancy, of twin and multiple births, of the formation of uterine myomas, and about future plans of getting married. RofLOL. She, in turn, described to me her family line, her experiences with her children, her faith in God and yes, her cough (which was the main reason she was there). Then she left, and I slept for an hour before calling it a day.

And you think being a doctor is a lot of hard work?! *winks*

Well, it's just one of THOSE days. ^_________^

Nyahaha. *sheepish*

I haven't updated for a while. I mean "really" updated. Hehehe I need to get blogging articles, opinions, thoughts, ramblings, and what-nots back into my system. It's just that I often get tired of waiting for my lousy dial-up connection to work. I kept using Insomnia for the simple reason that it's cheaper, but the catch is that it only works from 1am to 7am, so I always get tired of waiting. T__T

But do not fear.
SMARTBro is here.

I recently got connected to SMARTBro. So, yey.

No more excuses not to blog. LOLz





TOY-ING AROUND!

These are some of my prized toys. Most of them are gashapons that came in boxes.


I had the wooden shelf especially set-up to my wall for the purpose of displaying my collection.


Let's take a closer look...


Well you've met the Chairman from KujiAn before.
She's my very first boxed gash.


Then these are Sonosaki Mion, Furude Rika, and Ryuga Rena from Higurashi Naku no Koro ni.
Too bad I don't have Houjo Satoko to complete the set.

These gashapons come with extra faces (so you can change their expressions) and other accessories.
So cute! ^______^


Here are my Bleach boys - Kurosaki Ichigo and Abarai Renji in uniform mode.

Since they are taller than the other models, I like to put them at the back.
They keep my girls safe and secure. Teehee ^__^


Next is... Lelouch from Code Geass!
Ahhh.. the flowing cape. Makes him look so... gay. XD


We take off the cape to reveal an even gay-er Lelouch!

And these are the Jollibee Shaman King toys I posted here before.
But they now gained a new friend.

Meet Mister G.I. JOE. XD


This is a Kokeshi Doll. It's a kind of traditional Japanese doll handmade from wood.

I got it as a present from my friend Joey when she went to Hongkong.


And lastly, this is a bottle of star-shaped sand. I got this from my Japanese friend Manami.

This is not exactly a toy, but in the anime Air, Tohno Minagi gave it as a present to Yukito-san.



Well, I guess that's it for now.
