A FREAKY STORY

Last night I was still in the hospital because I had to assist an operation. We finished quite late, and it was already around 10:30pm when I got back to my room. I was alone at the third floor that time, since my partner's still in the ER and no other doctors were currently occupying the rooms.  I was planning to clean up my stuffs, but I thought I should get a drink of water first. So I went out of my room to the end of the hallway, where the water dispenser stood.

I got me a glass of cold water and then sat on the couch, which was near the windows. Suddenly, I heard a soft "wssst..." behind me. I was a bit freaked out but I tried to remain calm, dismissing it as my imagination and continued sipping my water. However, a few minutes later, I heard a very loud "WSSSSSTTTT!!!!" which came from the hallway, and it made me look up, but of course no one... nothing... was there.

I felt all the hairs in my skin stand, and I quickly shuffled back to my room, without bothering to glance around.

I don't even want to know what's lurking behind the shadows.... T___T
