BPAC SET 01
I was doing the laundry earlier, then suddenly had a most brilliant(?) idea!
I'm gonna make a new art challenge for myself!!! /(≧∇≦)/
Now I know I already have a lot of 'challenges' in my hands right now, and I'm supposed to cut back on some stuffs,
but I think I can squeeze this in.( ̄ー ̄)
Well, some of you may have noticed that lately, I've started sketching with ballpens. Initially it was just something I did mindlessly, but I seem to have a bit of talent for it (or so I'd like to think (・。・;) ) and I want to hone this skill. So this is going to be called the BPAC (Ballpoint Pen Art Challenge) Series, and the primary objective is to make 5 to 30minute-quick sketches with minimal erasures. Basically it's just a practice on doing a lot of head shots using a ballpen, since I'm still not comfortable with making full body drawings (will get there soon though ^w^). And I will just be copying screenshots/images of the characters, cos this will just be practice for me, and I don't have the time and skills to be experimenting on different poses -- that will come later on when I've improved enough and find my own style.
So for the first set for this series, I'm going to do Anime A to Z BPAC. I'm gonna list down 26 anime titles that begin with the letters of the alphabet, and draw 1-3 characters from these titles using a black Faber Castell 0.5mm S-Fine ballpen and the B6 sketchbook I got for Christmas. The paper size is kinda small, but I think it's also good exercise to practice drawing small. Who knows, I might draw manga in the not so distant future... or maybe not. (* ̄m ̄) Deadline for me is end of May, but I'll try to finish earlier. I will be uploading finished works in my deviantart account, though I probably won't be scanning them and will just be taking pictures of them using my digicam.
This is technically a challenge for myself, but feel free to take up this challenge if you're interested. If the first set is successful, I already have an idea of what I'm going to do next. But I'm still not gonna think about that, but will focus on this for now. Here's hoping procrastination won't get to me first. ヽ(^。^)ノ
