LONG VACATION

//laughs out loud.. very loud//

HA.HA.HA. This kid is officially on VACATION. For one month de-su!! //beams with joy//

We're finally done with all our exams and reports etcetera and so I have done nothing else since last wedenesday but to "play bum" at home. Yep! Yep! I've been sleeping, doing house chores, watching tv, reading books, sleeping again, and the cycle goes on and on and on. And nobody should call me lazy, cos I DESERVE THIS BREAK!! LOLz

Anyway, the difficult thing is to wait for our grades, which will be released two weeks from now. It will determine if I pass and move on to a much more stressful torture - fourth year, which is also *hopefully* //crosses fingers// my last year. I have to pass. Minna-san, please help me PRAY!!! I really wanna pass. And I really wanna change into a new uniform already. >.<

Well in the meantime, I've been catching up on the series and movies I have at home. Finished Kimura Takuya's LONG VACATION already, but I'll lump the review for that dorama along with all the other KimuTaku doramas we have. Finished the following korean movies too: Temptations of Wolves, Love So Divine and The Big Swindle. I won't make a review anymore for the movies, but they were quite unusual stories and I enjoyed them a lot. A few comments though... In Temptations of Wolves, I would just like to say that "Pepper Boy" Kang Dong Won is really looking so much better, but special attention should be given to Cho Han Sun for just being so good looking. //swoons// For Love So Divine, I particularly love the song Kwon Sang Woo, Ha Ji Won, and friends did for the wedding. I kept watching that part over and over because it seems so much fun! n__n For The Big Swindle, I really love Park Shin Yang's versatility. That guy never fails to impress me. ^___^

Music - Shinhwa has a new vid - 2gether 4ever. GYahhhhHH!! MY Dong Wan, as usual, looks absolutely yummy-licious!! And I was pointing him out to my mother the other day, and she agreed with me too!! (YA-HOO! He already got approval from my Mom! I can now marry him.. NYAHAHAHAHA) But as always, my Mom is still loyal to Eric. She said Eric is the most good looking of them all. Well, that's her opinion. But at least my Mom has good taste noh? hehehe

Anime - Finished Video Girl Ai. I know it's old anime (1992?), but it still didn't fail to break my heart (and my lacrimal glands, LOL). Amano Ai is just so adorable! The story reminds me of Ah! My Goddess, kinda like falling for someone "unreal". Demo ne, it has also the elements of growing up pains and realizations. It has a general "feel sad" aura despite the funny and ecchi scenes. I like the ending though. Even though it was probably impossible for them to be together, but even so, if they could just be together for that moment, then it was enough. I thought that was just beautiful. Sad, but beautiful.

I actually have a 900+ pages VGAi manga (or is this a graphic novel?). The thing is, it's in THAI! LOL So I couldn't understand anything! Demo ne, there seems to be lots of Youta-Moemi ecchi scenes... I wonder what these are all about. //grumble.. grumble// I actually have manga but can't understand it anyway.. @__@

Other animes I'm watching now are Inuyasha and Initial D. But I have to be contented with the mandarin-dubbed versions on the Taiwanese channel. //more grumble.. grumble// Well, I figured that if I still insist on not watching these dubbed versions then I might never get the chance to watch these again. So better dubbed than no anime ne? LOL I wanted to watch Prince of Tennis but the series ended last week. Ah darn. And the ending was so.. so inconclusive!! Argh! Ne, I actually saw an ad for a POT VCD which featured them in super-deformed mode! KAWAII! I wonder what that was all about. ^^;;

Yesterday, I saw an anime in WOWOW called Buzzer Beater. It's a sci-fi/basketball type of anime. I just learned today that it's created by the great Inoue Takehiko! It must be good noh? I'd better watch it next week.. Never mind that it doesn't have any subs! //grumble. grumble..// Demo, I'm so craving for anime now, I'd even watch Yu-Gi-Oh and Shaman King in Cartoon Network! I'd watch anything! And it also doesn't help that I just learn today what Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles is! Darn. Why didn't anyone tell me about that!? //extremely sad// ShaoRan looks so kakkoi now... //sighs// I love that kid so much.

Anyway, 'nuff about that. My being so outdated is making me sound so pathetic. LOL Hm.. other news... The new k-drama that ABSCBN is advertising is actually not Sangdoo, Let's Go To School but Yuriwha (Stained Glass)! I haven't seen the ad yet, but my friends said Kim Ha Neul is in it so it must be Yuriwha noh?! Ay, darn. How can they get actually get a copy before me?! Answer: Simply because they're a TV Network and they can afford it, baaaaa-kaaaaa! //sigh// Of course, nasakitan napud ko. Seems like I can never get ahead of anyone. //grumble.. grumble// It's OK though. I've decided that since I can't beat 'em then I'd just do things at my own slow pace. Ne? ^^;;

Another sad news: Last week, korean actress Lee Eun Joo actually committed suicide. I was so shocked when I heard about it, because I really like her. I think she's the most beautiful korean actress, with her simple yet sophisticated features. And I really like her in Firebird/Phoenix, Taegukgi, Lover's Concerto, etc. So sad ne... I symphatize with her family, friends and fans. She will always be remembered.

Well.. I guess that's it. I'm really excited for The Spongebob Squarepants Movie. ^^;;
