DIBIDI NAYN
Last week, I went to Quiapo with Hya to help her buy Christmas stuffs for her family. We decided to drop by the DVD section first. BIG MISTAKE. Lesson learned: You should never look at DVDs still with money in your pockets. XD I was actually just looking for Ranma DVDs (which I saw last time in Makati Cinema Square) but at first I couldn’t find it, so in my disappointment, I decided to buy the Bleach DVDs (2 discs) and a Korean dorama called Stairway of Clouds (as recommended by Ate Cecille, starring Han Ji Hye, YAY! ^o^).
Then still feeling displeased at the thought that I wasn’t able to find Ranma, I brought Hya to another area to browse. I was thinking of buying Shaman King and Fushigi Yuugi when my eyes caught sight of this:
So I forgot all about the other DVDs and haggled with the vendor to sell me the Ranma DVDs at a cheaper price. After all, there were 4 DVDs! But he probably saw that I wanted it sooooooooooooooooo much and he was the only one who was selling it, so he refused. *sigh* It was my mistake anyway. Hya has warned me gadzillions of times never to show these vendors my weakness for DVDs. *hugglez Ranma DVDs* It was still relatively cheap though. 166 episodes of my Ran-chan in English/Japanese audio with English subs. It was definitely a good buy! Ureshii... ^o^
Other DVD9 titles available there are: Shaman King, Fushigi Yuugi (Hya should watch this, nyahahaha), Beyblade (YAY!), Naruto, Vampire Princess Miyu, Magic Knights Rayearth, Gundam Wing, Gundam Seed, Gundam Seed Destiny, Rave, Pokemon (Hmm.. I wonder if this is complete), City Hunter (YAY! Ryu Saeba! <3), um.. among many others. There was also Touch, in 2 DVDs, but with Chinese subtitles only. I might buy it next time. [misakichan: sucker for old animes! XD] And Maison Ikkoku, Clamp School Detectives and Hikaru no Go in DVD box sets! And there were two stalls which sold many many many many downloaded anime titles. *drools* I didn’t go to those stalls anymore. The...temptation...is...too...strong... XD
Besides, I was already broke. I went home with my last PhP10 in my pockets. Poor impulse control? Not really. I figured I won’t go hungry anyway if I’m too happy. I’ll eat my bishies for breakfast, lunch and dinner. XD
RAN-CHAN RANT
I almost forgot how I feel for my Ran-chan. A few years back, when Ranma Nibun no Ichi was aired in AXN, I faithfully watched all the episodes everyday despite my hectic sked. And I’ve loved Ran-chan ever since! *huggles* I love his stubborn attitude, his bishie stance, his agile moves and his muscular back! *pokes* *pokes* ^o^ And the fact that he obviously loves Akane but is just too stubborn to admit it... KyaaaHHH!! XD He makes my heart go doki-doki and makes it difficult for me to breathe... Ran-chan KAWAIIIIII!!!!! <3 <3 <3 So now that I have complete Ranma episodes, I can watch my Ran-chan over and over till my drool runs dry... LOL XD
But actually, Hya’s the one who’s watching my Ranma DVDs right now. LOL And I think she likes Tatewaki Kuno! *giggles* She’s probably enjoying it so much, since she took some screencaps and used them as wallpaper for her laptop. XD

GETSUMEN HEIKI MINA
I’ve also finished watching Densha Otoko. *grins* It’s a really fun J-dorama! It made me laugh so much, and made me cry as much. I will write a review next time (hopefully! XD). Please look forward to it. ^o^
Want another show of my poor impulse control? XD I kinda got obsessed with capturing photos of Mina, supposedly from an anime called Getsumen Heiki Mina, which was the anime obsession of the lead character and his otaku friends. They were all in “mina moe mode” and I can’t help but join them. XD

I told myself, just one episode. Testing lang. So I popped in the Bleach DVD, and I couldn’t stop watching anymore! I’ve finished 60 episodes in only 5 sittings, and I swear, that’s quite an achievement for someone who’s presently a Surgery ER intern and who’s only means of watching DVD is to borrow her roommate’s laptop when she’s on duty or sleeping. XD As I texted Cath the other day, “When the Hya is away, the Kristine will play.” LOL XD I’d watch Bleach when I’m pre-duty, and I’d sleep around 3am and go on ER duty like a zombie, falling asleep while interviewing my patients. XD I’d watch Bleach when I’m post-duty, despite the lack of sleep, and ignore all my “housewife chores” (as we like to call them, hehehe ^o^ example, do my laundry, wash my plates, iron my uniform XD). I’m stuck to my chair, my eyes glued to the monitor, refusing to leave the room except to go pee. XD I’d even postpone taking a bath. LOL And I’d forget to get food from the mess hall, so my present diet consists of instant noodles, Skyflakes and countless cups of extra strong coffee to keep me awake and standing. XD
But I’m really hooked to Bleach right now. I knew before that it’s an excellent anime, what’s with everyone else (Joey, Gervie, Fangli and Piercing) raving about it, and with all the merchandise being sold everywhere, but I just thought that I’d watch it eventually. Well, apparently, “eventually” is right this moment, when I’m rotating in a major department. XD *sigh* But I can’t stop until I’ve finished all the 90 episodes I have now. I’ll order the rest from Andrew next year, when I’ll hopefully have more free time.
IMHO, Bleach is probably the most superb fighting anime, ever since Rurouni Kenshin (which I so love dearly ^o^). It has great characters (Bishies! Bishies! Bishies! XD), with amazing weaponry and interesting costume designs. The opening/ending themes are also cool (I love D-technolife by UVERworld! XD). The plot is so intense, I can’t stop watching! Ta-ta-ta-taihen de-su!! XD I must really finish it before we shift to wards, but I don’t think I can make it in time. But I know there will be filler episodes after, so that’s a bit sad. I hope it won’t be anything like the Feng Shui arc from RK. *sad* The only atonement for anime with filler episodes is to get the manga! XD I’ll do that next time, ne? (So many things to do... *chuckles*)
I actually wanted to write a longer and more fancrazy Bleach rant, but apparently I’m too full of it, I am now at a loss for words. Hehehe XD I guess I’ll just write more next time.

Err, anou... I also did another thing out of poor impulse control. XD *scratches head* No matter how I think about it, it was impulsive of me. XD And no matter how I think about it, I am still confused. (So stop thinking already! XD). But misakichan does things with no regret. In fact, no matter how I think about it, I’m pretty happy with what I did. *frowns* Demo I don’t know if what I did was right or wrong, or if there is a right or a wrong... I guess just because I’m happy doesn’t mean it’s right? XD

‘Nuff said. I’m ER duty again tomorrow. *sigh* It will be for the last time, since we’re already shifting to the Surgery wards on Monday. Hopefully it won’t be as toxic as our last duty. But I will definitely miss the ER and Ma’am Rannie (she’s so cool!!! XD). And I will miss doing minor operations. And I will miss post-duty status. *sigh*
It's getting late. I think I should go home now. XD
