DISSECTING: STORAGE BOX #07
Recently I removed most books from my shelf cos they were already overflowing and gathering dust.
For the bottom part of the shelf, instead of displaying more books, I decided to fit in a storage box so that it's easier to clean up.
Let's check out what's inside the box! (☞゚∀゚)☞
I have around 25 issues of W.I.T.C.H. magazine which I enjoyed when I was younger.
Sadly, since I already have so many material things for my own good, I intend to sell them, if anyone's interested.
Then I have TWO clear file folders which go way back when I was still in college.
One is for magazine clippings of idols and singers that I got from Japanese friends.
The second is a collection of anime images which I had printed out and painstakingly paid for with my allowance.
Back then I still didn't have a PC, and anime-related stuffs were a rare commodity in my city.
Part of my collection were Rurouni Kenshin and Fushigi Yuugi teks cards which I diligently collected and organized.
I know I also made something similar for the 150 original Pokemons but I can't find those pages anymore.┐(‘~`;)┌
Other stuffs in the box are:
Various anime folders which hold together several pages of printed-out song lyrics, manga translations...
...and even a very detailed 16-page summary of Fushigi Yuugi
which I typed myself with the use of a manual typewriter!!!(一。一;;)
A whole bunch of anime postcards, collectible cards, photo cards, etc etc etc
Foreign anime magazines.
Local anime magazines.
I remember my first copy of Questor was sent by my father through courier while he was still working in Manila.
A few foreign comics.
I just never grew up reading Marvel or DC, which is kinda sad.(´_`)

Local comics, indies and publications.
Most of them are with my boyfriend right now so they're not in this pic.
Then lastly, Japanophile that I am...
I have a whole bunch of brochures, pamphlets, maps, and other stuffs about Japan!!
I got some of them from the Embassy of Japan when I wrote to them for a high school project.
But most of these stuffs were collected by my sister for me when she was in Japan for 3 months.
I think I have at least 5 tourist maps of Tokyo. (⌒_⌒;)
Sadly, I've never been to Japan, or anywhere else out of the country.

In fact, I don't even have a passport yet!!! 。・゚゚・(>д<)・゚゚・。
Took me most of the afternoon to arrange just that one box.
At this rate, it will take me forever to finally finish cleaning up my entire room!!!
Next time, if I'm hopefully not lazy, let's open and dissect my box of toys.

Huh? Huh? How do you travel from here to there without a passport? ヾ(×× ) ツ I mean, can you travel around the Philippines without one? I thought you needed a passport to board a plane?
Haha! OMG. That's... a lot!
I actually also have a tourist guide book thing about Japan.
And it has colored glossy pages! Got it from Booksale though, so it was cheap. Haha! I can relate with the printing of pictures. I used to do that a lot too, but it was more on Rurouni Kenshin. Haha. You're so hardcore Misaki-nee! xD
wow, mas organized na nga si brooke shields...XD
IMBA on 16-page FY summary....XD
you had the very first issue of questor?as in un voltes 5 first issue?cool beans!
@Rei > you don't need a passport when traveling in the Philippines. you just need... money. XD
@Kazumi > Would love to see your travel book! :))
@Suoh12 > Wala ako nun! Yung pinaka-earliest ko na Questor ay yung Bubblegum Crisis ang cover. Pina_LBC ko pa yun from Manila. And I had 2 copies. I sold the other one to Rex. (I bullied him to buy it, hahaha)
IMBA nga yung FY summary. Kinopya ko lang yun from the net though. Looking back, it's so corny but I can't bear to throw it away. XDXDXD
oh wow, this feels like seeing my collection back when i was in high school up to college ._. we have more or less the same, but i think it's less for me now since i threw most of them away since i grew out of that phase. also, i have a pc now so hoarding stuff is easier XD
i also have those teks cards (except the Ruruoni Kenshin ones) including the Yu Yu Hakusho ones which is one boxfull of them. also got WITCH, printed out lyrics, and Questor but i'm a little envious that you got some of the earlier issues ;_; i started collecting the magazine when the cover was i think Weiss Kreuz or Bakuretsu Hunters.
@hime> these were the times when anime was such a rarity in our city.
i just can't bear to throw them out... -___-
