Whenever I make a mess of my room and have no more time to finish cleaning, I usually just put all the unfiled stuffs into a huge plastic bag and stash it into a big box. Over the months, said box became full, and so last night around 730pm, I decided to open it and organize the contents. Things went pretty well at first and I was able to throw out a lot of useless stuffs. But around 1am, I started to feel sleepy and tired, and then panicked when I realized that everything was still everywhere in my room. I sleep on the floor so if I couldn't finish cleaning up, then it also means I couldn't sleep yet. :(
I quickly decided to just set aside all the clutter just to make space for my mattress. And after a few minutes...
VOILA! The disarranged is arranged! ^___^
Because of my obsessive-compulsive personality, it takes me quite a while to arrange my stuffs, and boy, do I like to collect a lot of useless stuffs. It's very easy for me to pour out all my things on the floor, but most of the time, I find it difficult to bring them together. It's like disassembling a jigsaw puzzle and then realizing that I can't put back the pieces. Or maybe I can, but it would take a really long time. And this frustrates me because I want to be a surgeon. And one of my fears is that I might open up something and I might not be able to fix it back. That would be like, so freaky. >___<

THANK YOU, GLEN!
A few days ago I met up with my high school classmate, Glen, and now I just want to write this quick THANK YOU post for her for three wonderful things she has done for me this week:
1. She invited us for a wonderful dinner in her house last night.
One of our high school classmates, Juvy, is going off to Japan to do God's work, and we might not get to see her for another 3 years. So Glen organized this really simple yet elegant dinner for her. Our two other classmates, Gervie and Jen (plus husband Itong), were also with us. We had a really great fellowship, reminiscing old memories and catching up on new stuffs. Everyone just felt relaxed inside Glen's cozy house and eating the sumptuous meal she prepared. But I don't know if Juvy knew it was a despedida party for her. None of us actually had the heart to tell her goodbye, and I kinda messed up and wasn't able to prepare the gift for her. But we had a grand time anyway so I'm just so thankful.
2. She invited me to join a care group meeting.
Lord, You alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing.
You guard all that is mine. Psalm 16:5
Tonight, Glen personally brought me to a care group meeting held at Serendipity Cafe and Resto. I've long wanted (and needed) a small group of Christian friends whom I can be accountable to and responsible for, but just never got around to joining one. I guess I'm just one lost sheep with my messed up life and priorities. But praise God for Glen, who was quick to invite me to join a group composed of young, single ladies.
So I met some new friends: Chai, the group leader who works for a bank; Mizpah, a BS Psych student; Gigi, a first year law student; and Iris and Tia, who are med students. It was my first time to join a care group, so I kinda didn't know what to expect (or what they were expecting from me). But the group was warm and friendly, and I just had a good time getting to know them. Most importantly, I got to feed on God's Word and start allowing Him to fix my broken life. I just feel so "wrong" right now, and I know onlyGod can heal me. And I know that Hewill if I just let Him take control.
I will bless the Lord who guides me;
even at night my heart instructs me.
I know the Lord is always with me.
I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me.
Psalm 16: 7-8
3. She told me about this place where we could possibly transfer.
It's been almost a year since we've moved into our current residence, and although this is a wonderful place, but it's just too small and cramped for us. So we've been thinking of the possibility of moving again once our contract here expires, and Glen told me about this apartment near their house. I contacted the owner today, and I'm quite interested in the offer. I told my parents about it, and they also started considering it. We might check out the place and let's just see what happens. *crosses fingers*
Thank you Lord for Glen. She is really such a blessing. ^__________^

UPDATES OF MY LIFE (AGAIN!)
I'm sitting here in the hospital pharmacy, leeching off the hospital broadband using "Lorna".
What the heck is a "Lorna"? I'll tell you about it some other time. LOLz! For now, here are some random updates of my life, since I've been away for more than a month. You will soon learn why...
01. WE CURRENTLY DO NOT HAVE AN INTERNET CONNECTION! Because of the recent move, we terminated our DSL connection. I was planning to get connected to PLDT DSL once we settled down but that was never realized (see number two). It makes me sad to be offline, but for the past two months, I actually accomplished a number of stuffs (i.e. read my books, clean up my room) without the internet tempting me all the time. I know deep down that the internet robs me of my precious time and I really don't accomplish much in life when I'm in front of a PC. So I'm now reconsidering if I really need that DSL connection. I'm not home most of the time anyway. It's probably wiser to do some cost-cutting, and this would hopefully cut me off my idleness as well.
02. WE'VE MOVED AGAIN! I mentioned last time that we were leaving EVA UNIT-01 because of some problems. We only stayed in that unit for two weeks. We moved into a two-bedroom bungalow unit last August 22, and I thought that it was the end of our problems. BOY, I WAS SO WRONG. During our first week in UNIT-02, some stranger was able to enter our compound, and BORE A HOLE IN ONE OF OUR BEDROOM WINDOW SCREENS!!! We later learned that all the houses within that compound have been robbed of some stuffs, and even the neighboring houses have been robbed too! My parents were totally freaked out and we had to close down all the windows and curtains, making the place one huge sauna bath. We finally decided that the place was not habitable, and we were out of the place after 2 weeks of stay. So last September 5, we moved for the third time to another apartment very near our old residence, and although a bit cramped, but I think we feel a whole lot better and comfortable here.
One of the downsides of all these transferring is that we have exerted so much effort in cleaning and moving. My Mom especially had to leave from work just to clean the house and pack our stuffs (and she can be really super-diligent when it comes to cleaning!) I feel sad that I wasn't home to help her. Most of the time I wasn't in CDO because of my work, so I can only trust other people to help my parents with moving.
The most painful loss during all these time is that I have spent so much money already. TOO MUCH. Each time we move to a new house, we had to pay for the laborers and the truck drivers, not to mention do some repairs and buy doorknobs/locks, electrical equipment, etc. The owner of EVA UNIT-01 returned most of my deposit, and even apologized to us. We parted in good terms. But the owner of UNIT-02, cunning as a snake, charged us with PhP9000 just for two weeks of stay! I was seething with dissatisfaction since I felt that we were at a disadvantage. My parents were so emotionally shook up to the point of losing weight, and even our dog lost weight as well probably since she was up all night barking the intruders away. I didn't want any more problems though so I just accepted his terms and wish I don't have to do any further business with him in the future (and he should cross his fingers as well and wish he'll have no business with me in the future as well).
Bitter. XD
03. MY SISTER IS ALREADY IN JAPAN. She left Cebu last September 7, and is now experiencing Japan. OooOohhh... I am so envious! She told me about their train/bus rides, their crazy rollercoaster ride on the Thunder Dolphin, and their work stuffs. She also described her trip to Akihabara, and the first thing she told me was, "Atsy, daghan kayu anime dinhi!!!" (Sis, there's so many anime stuffs here!!!)
I am just so GREEN with envy.
04. I BOUGHT A NEW STETHOSCOPE. This is not exactly part of the budget plan, but my ever reliable black Classic Littman Stethoscope finally rested in pieces last week. I occasionally have problems auscultating but I thought that my ears are problematic, and not my steth. Well, around 2 weeks ago, I noticed that the earpiece wore out and that the tubings have developed HUGE CRACKS. Afraid of having nothing to use at work, I fixed it up with some adhesive tape (plaster XD), and it was fine until last week, when I realized that I could no longer hear anything with it! It was already making a hollow sound, which affects my examination and diagnosis. I had to say goodbye to my black steth, which has served me well for 7 years, and hurriedly purchased a new Classic Littman Steth, this time in RASPBERRY PINK. Hehehe My other choices were NAVY BLUE and HUNTER GREEN.
It wasn't cheap though and I even had to make a cash advance for it. Huhuhu... But I can't work without one so I had no choice. T___T
05. MY PORTABLE DVD PLAYER BROKE DOWN. This is so sad. In fact just thinking about it devastates me. I'm actually so fond of that player so it's hard to imagine that I can't use it anymore. About a month ago, I placed it inside a laundry bag and brought it down the ER. I hardly bring down my player but that time I was in the mood for some music. I placed the bag on a chair, and a few minutes later, THE BAG FELL OFF!!! It wasn't a very strong impact, and the player was still fine then. I was still able to finish watching Gakuen Heaven. I noticed though that the USB port was no longer working. A few days later, I was watching Yokazura Quartet in Camiguin when the video suddenly froze. And then the player refused to read ANY discs at all! It just kept saying "LOADING" but the video doesn't load. I took it to an electronics shop and they told me that the lens broke and they do not sell that type of lens in CDO. I'm taking the player to Manila next month and pray that I'll find the appropriate lens there. I am really so sad over this because that player means so much to me and I envisioned a long future of using it. It broke down after 3 months because of my carelessness. *very very sad*
06. I'M LEAVING FOR MANILA NEXT MONTH. I'm off to Manila come October 11-19 for personal matters. LOLz Actually, it's my boyfriend's birthday next month and I want to spend that special day with him. And I decided to use that time too to take a break from work, visit my friends, buy scrub suits and stuffs, and attend the COLLECTICON scheduled on October 11 in Robinson's Ermita. It will definitely feel like a trip down memory lane since Rob Ermita used to be my "territory". XD
I was talking to my classmate earlier this week and he told me of a conference sponsored by the Philippine Society of Emergency Physicians come November 9-10. Their programme is really interesting and I think we will learn much from the lectures, so we are thinking of attending it. Hopefully we can save enough money by then so that we can join that confe. As an added bonus, the Anime Overload Festival to be held in SMX Convention Hall in Mall of Asia is set on November 8, so I think that's a really wonderful coincidence that I don't want to miss! I will have to miss work again though. *sad!!!*
07. FINISHED SOME BOOKS. I finished reading Dan Brown's Angels and Demons which is such a superb fast-paced exciting adventure. Every page leaves me amazed and wondering how the author has come up with such a brilliant plot and unexpected twists. And yes, it might be a bit controversial because it tackles on some sensitive topics, but I was never convinced that it was non-fiction. It was just a fun book to read, but I never took it seriously so I don't really bother with the controversies. Now I can finally watch the movie version (and see Tom Hanks in action, hehehe).
I also started reading the sequels of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga. I've read the first book Twilight last year, and although it was fun from time to time and made me giggle with glee in some parts, but I was never caught up in the Edward-Bella fandom. I just simply can't bring myself to rave over the books the same way I've raved over the Harry Potter series. And I just don't know why they keep comparing the two when they are both of different genres. But anyway, since my friends Jan and Joey have been telling me to read the rest of the saga (with Jan sending me pdf files of the book, and Joey actually lending me the hard copy!), I had no choice but to admit defeat. If you can't beat them, then join them. Hehehe I've put off reading the books for so long, and now I finally opened them. I've finished New Moon and currently reading Eclipse. Hopefully I'll finish Breaking Dawn as well this week. My opinions haven't changed at all though. And I think the only characters I like in the series are Alice and Carlisle, though not even them can bring me to fangirl level. Edward is sometimes likeable, but Robert Pattinson is NOT. XD
08. DOWNLOADING... I've lost my 300-something torrent list when my sister reformatted our Desktop PC. XD So right now I'm back to zero. I don't know if I'm actually relieved or frustrated. But it's more of a relief, I guess. I've always felt that the 300-something torrent list was binding me down. It made me feel that I was always chasing after something, that I was obliged to accomplish the downloads, and that somehow burdens me. Yes, they made me feel good, but they also weighed me down. I've always thought I am just TOO MUCH of a COMPULSIVE HOARDER.
Now I'm back to downloading again, but for now I've only queued Hetalia Axis Powers and Umineko no Naku Koro Ni. The hospital connection is kinda slow (we're running on SmartBro), and I feel like I'm back to my old days (but at least NOT the dial-up days, hehehe). I have somehow leeched 6 episodes of HAP and 4 episodes of Umineko in two nights. XD
That's it for now I guess. I am actually on 24hour duty now, and it's way past my bedtime. I still have to work tomorrow. It's fun to blog again, and hopefully I can do it more often. Maybe with "Lorna", I can keep this blog rolling.
Or being that I'm too lazy, then maybe not. XD

OUT OF EVA UNIT-O1
I posted pictures of our new apartment last time to share it with my blog readers. But my sister pointed out that I can't put stuffs like these up the net for security reasons, and I realize that she has a point. So I took the pics down. Now I'm putting the pics back up again because we're moving out of EVA UNIT-01 (as my boyfriend calls it XD).
See the resemblance? Hehehe
My parents stayed for two weeks in this house (and me for two days only!), but they've realized that it's not suitable for us. I won't expound on the reasons anymore. Sayang, it's quite a lovely place, but it's just not meant for us.
Luckily, my parents found a new place for us, which is a 2-bedroom bungalow unit. I went to see it today and although not as big as EVA UNIT-01 but it is quite spacious. The size is just right for my family. Well, come Saturday, we're moving into that new house #2 (which unfortunately doesn't have a flashy name as "EVA UNIT-01" XD). Many thanks to my Dad's friend Vincent and his wife Michelle for their assistance. They really went out of their way to help us find another place to rent. It warms my heart just thinking about this because we don't have that many friends here in the city, and what few friends we have really helped us during this tough time. I really appreciate their efforts. Thank you Lord for good friends. The world ain't that bad a place after all. *teary-eyes*
My uncle, who's been living in Cotabato, also arrived yesterday. He'll be staying with us for a while, which is great news since there's someone who will stay with my parents while I'm gone for work. He will also help us with the move on Saturday, so that's really a relief.
My sister is arriving at the end of the month. There will be a lot of changes in her life soon. For one thing, she's coming home to a different place. Hehehe
I want to write more stuffs but I'll have to end for now since I have to go home already. I'm using an internet cafe PC, which feels funny, since I haven't used one for a very long time. I remember the time when we still didn't own a PC at home, and I used to stay inside the internet cafe browsing and surfing like mad from 12nn to 10pm until the shop closes. That was such a long time ago. Ehehe~ ^o^

CHANGES IN MY LIFE
This is a picture of our new apartment with bright blue gate.
It is the first door of three apartments, the others bearing pink and purple gates respectively. It is a three-storey building with two bathrooms and four bedrooms. It does not have a garage, but we don't have a car so it doesn't really matter.
There's a small space between the gate and the house where we can do the laundry. That's also where we plan to put our dog Didat. ^____^
This is the first floor. It's pretty much bare with no divisions. But it's quite spacious.
If you peer closer, notice that there's a small space at the back. This is where the 1st floor bathroom is located, as well as spiral staircase leading up to the Emergency Exit at the 2nd floor.
Backdoor (First Floor)
Emergency Exit (Second Floor)
Now let's go up the stairs to the second floor.
Second Floor Hallway. (Uh, just don't mind the rags and basin XD)
Second Floor Room 1: Master's Bedroom This is the view from the door, and the view from the inside.
This is the view from the Master's Bedroom window. There's a construction going on outside.
Second Floor Room 2: My Bedroom This is the view from the door, and the view from the inside. It is very bare, and since I don't own any furnitures excpet my bed, I foresee that my stuffs will just be piled on the floor. XD
There's a bathroom on the second floor but I forgot to take a picture of it.
Going up the third floor, you can immediately see a sink.
I do not understand its purpose in life. XD
Third Floor Hallway. Unlike the first and second levels which are tiled, the flooring here is made of Hardiflex. It's weird cos the floor vibrates(?) as you move.
Third Floor Room 1 Nothing much to see here. It's just a small square room with tiny windows.
Third Floor Room 2 This is the view from the door, and the view from the inside.
Since we don't really own that many stuffs, the third floor will probably just be used for storage. It's quite hot here too so it's not so comfortable, I guess.
My mom and I went there last Wednesday to clean up. And with the help (and vehicle) of my friend Gervie, we were able to move some of our stuffs in the new apartment already. The rest of our things will be transported tomorrow.
Before I left for Malaybalay, I also made arrangements for the transfer of our cable TV service. I initially requested to have our landline and BayanDSL transferred too, but to save us the hassle, I had them terminated instead. Our landline is not listed under our family's name, so there's a lot of procedures needed if we pushed through with the transfer. Likewise, I need to pay a huge amount if I want my BayanDSL transferred, so I decided to cut off the connection and just pay the pre-termination fee instead (PhP 3000! *cries*) since I have only subscribed for a few months.
Then I applied for the Philcom Landline + PLDT DSL package, which is relatively cheap and hassle-free. ^______^
And so last night I finished packing all the stuffs in my old bedroom, so that everything is now ready for the move. I won't be able to help out my family tomorrow cos I'm already scheduled for work, that's why I didn't sleep a wink at all last night just to finish packing everything. I went to work today feeling all lightheaded, hehehe. Good thing I'm not on 24-h duty today. After this blog entry, I'm going to catch some very much needed zzz's already.

WAVES,WINDSWINGS, AND STORMS IN LIFE
Home again!
Got back yesterday. I was supposed to go home by Saturday, but I had to extend an extra day in Camiguin because of the strong winds and rough seas. And even when the weather calmed down a bit, it was still one helluva ride. Normally, while riding the Paras Seacat, the view is like this...
But during my last trip home, the view was like this...!
And it wasn't even raining!!! 0__o
I swear I could feel my insides being pulled up and down as the small craft rode the waves. I already took a tablet of Bonamine prior to the trip, and I had to take another one cos I really felt the need. After a while, the crew handed out plastic bags = barf bags. I weakly smiled as I took one, and hurriedly shut my eyes, praying that the loud woosh woosh would just go away. It did not. I took a peek around and saw some passengers transfer to the center aisle seats, and some were lying down on the chairs already. I held on to my seat and hoped that I could fall asleep. I didn't. And eventually I retched into the barf bag. Thankfully, nothing came out. It took maybe an hour before we finally reached calm waters, and I fell into peaceful slumber for the next hour. I was really woozy when I arrived, but THANK GOD, I got back in one piece!
I felt a lot better when I arrived home, and as expected, sat in front of the PC again. But this time, I had a "mission" and that was to complete my collection list. I am quite proud to say that you can now view my "humble" video/manga collection online at
I sense some sort of pride whenever I look at my list, but maybe to some, it's just a bunch of scraps. And maybe they're right, because I hoard TOO MUCH. Honestly, I've probably seen only about 25% of these. And I don't know if I will ever finish watching all of these in my lifetime, since I still keep on hoarding until now.
GuEsS wHaT's In ThE bOx!?!
TA-DAH! It's my HOARD COLLECTION!!!! XD
They've been (unfiled and) stashed into a box for now because we're going to move this weekend already.
Speaking of the move, we've finally decided to rent the apartment located on the 31st street. It's quite near, it's quite spacious (4 bedrooms FTW!), and is quite new. The problem is, it's also quite expensive. But I feel safer and more at peace leaving my parents there when I'm off to work. We're tired already of wandering about, asking people, searching for a place to rent. So I think it's better this way. Money is something I can earn back anyway. But my parent's constant worrying is something I do not want to see anymore.
So in relation to this, I went to the bank this morning and opened a checking account, cos the owners want us to pay with post-dated cheques. So my Dad and I then went to see the owner, and I issued eight cheques with my signature on it. It was weird doing it, especially with my Father peering over me to see if I'll make a mistake in writing. The owners seem rather meticulous with their transaction with us, even giving us a contract of lease to sign. I guess that's for their own protection as well.
After lunch, I went to the cable company, the phone company and my ISP to request for transfer of their lines to our new address. The cable company charged 500pHp for the service, the phone company 300pHp, and BayanDSL a whopping 2500pHp!!! I felt my heart sank when the clerk at BayanDSL told me about the fee. I asked her if there's any chance I'd get a discount on it, since I'm relatively a new subscriber and I just recently paid for the installation fee. She said that it's a fixed price and they'll just bill me the fee once everything has been placed in order. I felt helpless sitting there knowing that I can do nothing but agree to their terms. It hasn't been a year yet since I started subscribing to BayanDSL, so I also don't have the option to terminate my subscription.
It was then that I somehow felt so drained and empty. I went to the bookstore to calm myself, and ALMOST bought GRAVITATION the novel. I placed it back after thinking twice, but ended up impulsively buying THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA hardbound novel instead. I also ate Lasagna at Greenwich and thought it was nothing special. Then I bought dinner for my parents and went home.
When I got home, I related to my Mom what happened the entire day, and somehow burst into tears while telling her that I've almost drained out my savings account already. What's left in my bank account right now has already been promised for something else, and the rest is just the maintaining balance. I haven't received my salary in Camiguin yet because of some discrepancies, and I will have to work my ass off in Malaybalay come Friday to make sure that my cheques won't bounce. I actually didn't want to worry my Mother and didn't want them to think that I was being calculating or that I was paying for the rent grudgingly. I was not (although I may sound bitter and all). It's just that the feeling of seeing all my hard-earned money, painstakingly being saved for the past 9 months, gone down the drain in just one day somehow caught me off guard. I didn't want my Mom to feel guilty or worried, and perhaps I made her feel that way when I cried. I didn't want to cry. The tears just came. And she unintentionally fueled the pain by saying, "Your uncle asked when are you planning to go into residency?", to which I replied, "How will I do that when I don't have any money?!"
I am so mean and horrible!!! T___T I am so sorry... I'm so sorry I acted that way. It was such a bad thing to say, and it was bad to cry and mull over something as petty as money.
I can earn it back again anyway. This is just a mountain in my life which I will overcome. GOD will see me through this storm.

HOW I WASTED MY TIME
Yesterday, I was supposed to do a lot of things... which I didn't.
First of all, I woke up quite late -- around 10am. Then the biggest mistake I made was to turn on the PC, with the intention of continuing my torrent downloads.
I ended up...
sitting for 6 straight hours in front of the PC;
downloading 260 useless fonts just for the heck of it;
wasting much time in facebook (I swear facebook is evil, it robs us of our precious time!);
eating 1 brownie, 4 peanut tikoy;
adding more torrents to my ever-long list of queued torrents to download (now at 322);
watching the first episode of Umineko no Naku Koro ni;
downloading ALL episode 1 versions of Umineko >_<;
youtube-ing various video clips related to Umineko;
obsessing over Katayoku no Tori, the OP of Umineko;
and basically, just NOT achieving anything (again!) the whole day.
I kept procrastinating and procrastinating until it started raining and still kept procrastinating even when the rain stopped and procrastinated till my Mom arrived at our doorstep from work. And she gave me a *slight* scolding (ehek!) for #1, not accomplishing anything and #2, for still not taking a bath. *sweatdrops*
My Mom then told me to go out with her to look for some more houses for rent. And we went to see around 3-4 houses for rent somewhere around our area. There was this one place, a three-storey four-bedroom apartment, which really striked my fancy, but it's somewhat too big for my family. And it's quite expensive too! Huhu. u__u Regardless, I really like the interiors of the place since they looked newly painted and clean. The floors were tiled as well. The area isn't very accessible and the neighborhood doesn't exactly appear absolutely safe, but it's not that bad. We later took my Father to see the place, and he's also quite OK with it. BUT WE'RE STILL NOT OK WITH THE PRICE. T___T My parents told me they could hardly sleep at night worrying about where we're headed for. I felt very sad when they told me about this and pray that God will lead us to a solution to this problem soon.
After we got home, I'm supposed to start packing my stuffs in my room. BUT ALAS! The cycle repeated itself, and I'm sitting for (more than) 6 hours in front of the PC again.
WOE IS ME!!!! T___T
Closing this entry with Akiko Shikata's OP theme for Umineko no Naku Koro ni... I absolutely love this song. It's so powerful and orchestra-ic with a slight "terror" feel to it. It's perfect for the anime!

SOME VARIOUS STUFFS ETC ETC ETC
Tadaima!
I have a terrible headache right now cos I did a lot of things today. T___T
Firstly, thanks to my ever-dependable boyfriend, I was able to wake up around 4-ish am since I still needed to pack my things for home. Unfortunately, since I was still on duty then, my packing was disrupted by a slightly toxic patient who arrived at the ER. After admitting the patient, I rushed my preparations since I wanted to attend the 8am church service at CCF-CDO. However I realized that I could not make it (because another patient came!), so I aimed to leave at 7am so I could reach CDO before the 10am service. It was a good thing Dodge arrived early to receive me, although I would have left the hospital anyway even if he came later. Emil was already awake then so it was OK for me to go already.
Arrived in CDO around 9-ish, went home to drop off my bags and change clothes, then went off to church. Pastor Chris gave a really nice and strong message on John 5 and on our spiritual blindness and our need to lead. It was very inspiring and I hope GOD will reveal more of Himself to me every moment of the day and not only in church.
I also found out where my missing ATM card is! Indeed I've placed it inside the tithe envelope and dropped it in the donation box 2 Sundays ago! The church staff returned it to me, and I laughed sheepishly at my carelessness, and told them (half-jokingly?) that all my finances belong to God anyway. But I'm a bit worried because I'm quite absent-minded lately, and always seem to be losing things. After I lost my ATM card last time, I filed for replacement in the bank the next day. And they actually had to call me up at home the next day cos I WROTE THE WRONG DATE on the application form. So stupid lah...
After church, I went to pay my internet bills, then luckily found this in Booksale...
Mahoromatic Volume 8!
It's the final volume! And it's thick too. Lucky!!! I've almost completed the set. Now I only need to find Volumes 4 and 7.
I met up with my parents, then we had lunch at Sunburst. After which we went to Capistrano Complex Subdivision in Gusa to check out a pad for rent which was referred by my friend Catherine. It was a nice location, but the place was sadly too small for us.
Then we went to visit my Mom's friend living in Alwana Village in Cugman. And although the houses for rent there were really pretty and even semi to fully furnished, but they were also way beyond our budget. It was also surprising because my Dad met his friend there too! Apparently my Dad's friend and Mom's friend were neighbors and friends, though they both don't know that they were somehow related to my parents. It would be nice to live in a peaceful and quite high end subdivision like that, but we just can't afford it. *sad* I hope in the future I can buy my own house there too.
We left the place and took a jeepney back to Gaisano Mall where I somehow ended up buying a Red Ribbon cake and brownies, Goldilocks bread, and early dinner for us at Pizza Hut. So much for trying to scrimp and budget. I was out of money by the time we got back home. *sweatdrops* But not before I got this...
I bought another *ahem!* a medical book in high hopes of studying. Because I have somewhat decided to set a goal for my life, and this decision might be life-changing. Or maybe not. But I'll expound on this next time when I'm really sure about my thoughts.
When we got home, I was quite tired, but we immediately set out again to look for more houses for rent. We ended up going somewhere around Sunshine Village in Tibasak, and I honestly think it's a bit far away already, but we found a cheap, brand new 2 bedroom unit there. It's so cute, however, it's still too small for us because we own quite a number of huge boxes which definitely won't fit there. And my parents think it's too far away from the city too. So after walking some more, we finally decided to call it a day and headed back home to eat our cakes.
I'm really so tired so I'll try to get some shut-eye now. Oyasumi!
